My latest quilt, Flowers in my hair and expectations has been juried into Rituals, an invitational special exhibit that will premier at the Long Beach International Quilt show this July. The words on the top half are sort of blind expectations - all positive. The bottom portion - the darker fabric, lists some of the realities of this life together. The letters can be seen better in this close up.
The couple have been collaged using vintage kimono fabrics. It is my interpretation of the original photos taken almost 45 yrs ago. wow.
